‘One Battle After Another’ Trailer – Are You Not Entertained?

Paul Thomas Anderson is joining forces with one of the few movie stars we have left to bring us probably the movie of the year.

I think I counted about 9-12 Oscar nominations from this trailer alone. Movie nerds like myself have been patiently awaiting a collaboration like this. Leonardo DiCaprio and Paul Thomas Anderson are coming together for what is sure to be one of the best movies of the year. How can you not get excited when you walk past a movie poster and see the name “Leo” it’s a rarity in movies these days, to slap a name on a poster and immediately catch the attention of basically any human in the world.

PTA looks like he is going big here, a director not really known for action, this appears to be his biggest movie in almost 20 years. Packed with some of Hollywood’s finest, it’s hard not to get worked up about a movie like this. Leo going all Taken on some old enemies trying to find his daughter is something I’m highly invested in. Until that man stops making movies, I will always be seated day 1 to support that man.

From what I’ve seen so far, this is easily front runner for Best Picture at next years Oscars. I can’t wait to sit back and watch every single PTA movie going into this one during the summer. It’s going to hit like crack.
